Band Director

Katie Kilroy

Ms. Kilroy has a Bachelor’s degree from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Music from Winthrop University.  Most recently, she has been the Assistant Director of Bands at Charlotte Latin, a job she held for 3 years prior to coming to Providence.  Before working at Charlotte Latin, Ms. Kilroy worked at schools around the Charlotte area and has done freelance work with East Mecklenburg High School, Catawba Ridge High School, Davidson College, the Charlotte Concert Band and the Charlotte Civic Orchestra.  She came to us with excellent recommendations including a love of music and a passion for teaching and working with young people.
