Providence Bands Need Your Help to Equip Our Students for Success.

The Providence High School Band Program is the center of countless students' high school experience – a place where they find community, develop confidence, and realize their potential. Band is not just a class, it's a place where students go to grow and shape their future. It is through YOUR generosity – the support of our families, alumni, and other supporters – where every student has access to the life-changing experience that music brings, and enable the band program to reach new heights.

But right now, outdated equipment is holding our students back.

Imagine that no matter how long you practiced, you are never able to achieve the sound you know you're capable of because of leaky keys or sticky valves. Or instead of the crisp "rat-a-tat" of a snare drum, the sound is dull and muted. Some students are playing on decades old instruments in critical need of repair or replacement. Many of our percussion instruments are literally falling apart when moved. The district’s small budget for repairing instruments has been cut back even more this year, leaving a significant gap that we must fill ourselves. This gap, has a detrimental effect on our students ability to perform and represent our school with pride.

Usually, the Providence Cup Marching Band Competition serves as a fundraiser for the entire band program, helping to cover costs of maintaining instruments. However, with the the unforeseen cancellation of our beloved Providence Cup fundraiser this year, your support is needed now more than ever.

New Marching Snare Drums, Bass Drums, and Tenor Drums
Three Marimbas
Three Vibraphones
One Xylophone
New Cymbals
Wind Instrument Maintenance/Repair
